Do not use the VR headsets if you are: tired (due to lack of sleep), under emotional stress or anxiety, suffering a cold, flu, headaches, migraines, earaches, any contagious condition, infection, or diseases in particular of the eye, scalp, or skin to ensure non transfer to others as this may increase your susceptibility to adverse symptoms
If you suffer or have previously had a seizure, loss of awareness or any other symptom related to an epileptic condition is advised to consult a medical professional/doctor before using a VR headset
Virtucate VR recommend that you contact a medical professional/doctor before using our VR headsets if you are: pregnant, elderly, have pre-existing binocular vision abnormalities or any other serious medical conditions
There has been no documented evidence to suggest VR is harmful to children.
All those participating will be required to be seated during the VR learning experience.
Our headsets will be cleaned using disposable disinfection wipes which are DGHM/VAH approved and after the lenses will be cleaned with a dry microfibre cloth
VR headsets are only to be used in a safe environment as the headset will produce a totally immersive virtual reality experience
Be aware that any objects or items that can be seen through a VR headset or when using Virtucate ARC cube is within a virtual reality world
If a child/children begin to show adverse symptoms with the use of a VR headset, Virtucate VR will monitor the child/children and/or safely remove the headset(s) in order for the child/children to take a recommended rest
VR is not recommended for people with the following: Epilepsy, blackouts, a history of heart conditions or abnormal blood pressure, back, neck or similar condition, expectant mothers, susceptible to motion sickness or dizziness, people with a medical sensitivity to strobe effects or photosensitive, unsuitable for people which have recently had surgery or other conditions which could be aggravated from the use of virtual reality equipment
